Have Questions?
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Clear facts about our mobile gaming experience, parking requirements, and weather setup.
What happens if it rains on the day of our party?⌄
The main CurbSide Arcade party takes place inside our enclosed, insulated, climate-controlled van. Rain, wind, or cold in Metro Vancouver does not stop the party. The exterior awning and dance mats are deployed weather permitting, but all multiplayer console stations, racing simulators, VR, and PlayStation Portal handheld play remain sheltered indoors.
What age group is CurbSide Arcade best suited for?⌄
CurbSide Arcade is designed mainly for kids and young teens, with game selections and activities adjusted to suit the group. Parents can also tell us about preferred games or rating limits before the event.
How many kids can play at the same time?⌄
Final capacity depends on the completed vehicle layout and event setup. Tell us your expected guest count in the availability form and we will confirm the best player rotation for your party.
What games and consoles are available?⌄
We feature PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch OLED, and PlayStation Portal handheld devices. Game options include popular titles such as Fortnite, Minecraft, Roblox, Rocket League, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, EA Sports FC, and other party-friendly games. Parents can specify game-rating limits before the party.
What is PlayStation Portal and how is it used at the party?⌄
PlayStation Portal is a handheld Remote Player for the PS5 ecosystem. It gives guests another flexible way to play selected PS5 games away from the main TV stations while staying connected to the van's gaming setup.
How do the racing simulators work?⌄
Our mobile arcade includes dual racing simulator cockpit setups so two drivers can race head-to-head on real-time racing circuits with force-feedback steering wheels and responsive pedal controls.
How is the VR experience supervised?⌄
VR is offered as a supervised rotation activity. Guests take turns using the headset while the rest of the group continues playing console games, racing, handheld games, or other activities.
How much parking space do you need at my house?⌄
Because CurbSide Arcade uses a custom high-roof Ford Transit van rather than a heavy towed trailer, we only need approximately 2.5 standard vehicle lengths (around 45–50 feet) of flat driveway or legal curbside street parking. We cannot enter underground garages, but residential driveways and cul-de-sacs work well.
What cities across Metro Vancouver do you serve?⌄
We serve families and events across Metro Vancouver including Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, New Westminster, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Surrey, Delta, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Langley, and White Rock. Locations outside these areas may still be available, but additional fuel and travel charges apply. Submit your city or postal code with your inquiry and we will confirm routing and availability.
Do the kids ride inside the van while it is moving?⌄
No. CurbSide Arcade is a parked gaming experience. Guests do not ride in the gaming area while the vehicle is being driven.
